We create opportunities for people affected by violence to cultivate safety, healing and leadership on their own terms. Together with campus partners and the broader community, CCF provides education, programming and advocacy to foster a world free from gender-based violence.
Meet the Consent Comes First Team
Hi, my name is Farrah Khan (she/her), a settler, queer mixed-raced South Asian woman. I am the Manager of Consent Comes First. I support campus community members affected by sexual violence and gender-based violence, facilitate groups, lead education, campaigns and training in collaboration with community partners and provide expert advice regarding policy and procedures. I am a gender justice advocate who has spent two decades raising awareness about the intersections of gender-based violence and equity through education, counselling, policy and art creation. Hi, my name is Tiffany Wong (she/her), a settler and Chinese woman. I am a Sexual Violence Specialist at Consent Comes First (CCF). I work from a healing-centered and trauma-informed framework to support campus community members affected by sexual violence and gender-based violence. I work collaboratively with you to manage the impacts of trauma, coordinate academic considerations, and navigate resources on- and off-campus. I also provide support throughout the reporting process if you choose to report. I believe you have the right to safety and support. Hi, I'm Jiaqing Wilson-Yang (she/her), a settler and mixed-race Chinese transwoman. I'm a Sexual Violence Specialist and I work with Faculty, Staff, and Students who have been affected by sexual and/or gender-based violence to get the supports they need to find justice and healing. I can work with you to support your academics, workplace life, manage the physical and emotional impacts of violence, and provide support throughout a reporting process if you choose to report.
