Philanthropists John and Marcy McCall MacBain have created the McCall MacBain Scholarships at McGill University. The McCall MacBain Scholarships will provide up to 30 full scholarships to outstanding students from Canada and around the world with the opportunity to pursue a master's or professional degree at McGill University in Montreal starting the fall of 2023.

The McCall MacBain Scholarship is a full graduate scholarship at McGill University. This scholarship program specifically seeks students that have a track record of community engagement, informed by a sense of duty, empathy, intellectual curiosity, grit, and a willingness to take risks. They aim to create meaningful and lasting change, while improving the lives of others.

The scholarship will cover your tuition and fees for a full-time master’s program or a second-entry professional undergraduate program (i.e. dentistry, law, or medicine) at McGill, starting in fall 2023. It will also provide you with a living stipend of $2,000 per month during academic terms.

How to Apply

You will need to complete two applications:

1. The McCall MacBain Scholarship application will be open June 2022 with an expected start in the fall of 2023.
2. You also need to apply directly to McGill for at least one eligible full-time master's or professional program , external link, opens in new window . Program admission requirements and timelines vary, so please research the ones that interest you. We will ask you to apply by the first deadline for fall 2023 admission.

If you are a current university student or recent graduate (2021 or later), your application will prompt a request for endorsement from 日博电竞登录下载靠谱 University. If you graduated in 2020 or earlier, you can apply directly without endorsement.
